The front end structure (3) has a bearing bracket (6) that is made from aluminum or aluminum alloy, for supporting an upper end of a spring or damper strut of a wheel suspension. A wheel mounting unit (7) made of iron or iron alloy, is arranged to limit bearing bracket with respect to adjacent section of a wheel. The bearing bracket is integrally molded on wheel mounting unit. An upper longitudinal beam (9) is secured at bearing bracket. A lower longitudinal beam (13) is secured at wheel mounting unit. The upper and lower longitudinal beams are made of iron or iron alloy.
