Method for machining workpiece by machining tool, involves introducing cool air stream in machining tool and supplying hot air stream to workpiece in blowing direction which is tangential to workpiece rotary axis
The method involves dividing compressed air (12) into a hot air stream (14) and a cool air stream (15) by an eddy current generator (13). The cool air stream is introduced into a machining tool (11) to cool the machining tool. The hot air stream is supplied to a workpiece (10) to heat the workpiece. The workpiece is rotated around a workpiece rotary axis (16). The hot air stream and cool air stream are guided on opposite sides to the workpiece and the machining tool. The hot air stream with a blowing direction (17) is guided towards the workpiece, which is oriented tangentially relative to the workpiece rotary axis. An independent claim is included for a device for machining a workpiece.
