The input filter device has a switching element (S1) that is arranged between an inductor (L1) and a capacitor (C1). The switching element interrupts and establishes connection between an input and an output (A). A current/voltage measuring unit controls the timing of the switching element. An intermediate storage element (C) stores energy of the inductor in the open state of the switching element, and delivers stored energy to the output in closed state of the switching element.
