The method involves determining brightness values of subject document and determining material thicknesses by assigning thickness of material to each brightness value of design template. A structural element is generated for each brightness value, so that a textured surface of the structural member is formed. A molding material is applied to structured surface of structural unit and is cured such that mold element is formed as negative impression of structural element. The mold element is poured with a translucent material and the material is hardened.
