Plastic prepared from a reaction mixture comprising an alkylthio-substituted toluenediamine and a toluene diisocyanate prepolymer, is claimed. Independent claims are also included for: (1) producing a front cast coating for a mold plate for foundry applications, comprising (a) providing a rear triangle, and (b) applying the above plastic reaction mixture on at least one surface region of the rear triangle to form the front cast coating; (2) the mold plate, model or core box comprising the rear triangle and a front cast coating, which comprises the above plastic; and (3) producing a cast piece or a tool, comprising (i) preparing a foundry molding material, (ii) pressing the above mold plate in the foundry molding material for forming a negative imprint of the mold plate in the foundry molding material, and (iii) casting the negative imprint with a casting melt.
