Acoustic plucking instrument and method of making an acoustic plucking instrument

In order to reproducibly produce plucking instruments with a plucking instrument body defining a longitudinal axis and at least one string having the best sound characteristics held on the plucking instrument body, it is proposed that the plucking instrument body at least partially consist of parts which are produced by machining by means of a CNC machine. Furthermore, an improved method for producing a plucking instrument is proposed.
