The fire protection window has wooden frame (1) made of timber, and glass holding strip (2). The wooden frame is connected to the fire protection panel (3), fire-resistant glazing portion (8) and weather-resistant exterior side cover (4) made of aluminum. The cover is fastened to the fire protection panel by a holder (5). The fire-resistant glazing portion is formed in the narrow sides of intumescent strip (14) sealed by sealing portions (6,7) formed of polyethylene.
