The element (16) has a body made from a colorless transparent plastic such as para-methoxymethamphetamine and polycarbonates, where phosphor is mixed to the colorless plastic as a filler material. The element is formed as a light conductor feedable by ambient light (U) in an annular or disk shape, and fastenable at an under-side region (15) and a top region of a control element i.e. turning toggle (12), by a screw and an adhesive agent. The element occupies an entire lower side (13) of the control element. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a control element (2) a household appliance.
