The gearbox (1) has drive spur gears (3) arranged within a gear housing (17), and pinions (5) connected with an intermediate gear axle. An intermediate shaft (6) is arranged parallel to a transmission input shaft, and output spur gears (8) are propelled by the pinions and a pinion head (9). The intermediate shaft is supported at a transducer bell (2) over a set of rolling bearings (14, 15). A stud axle (16) penetrates into the housing. The intermediate shaft is designed as a sleeve shaft. A side shaft (7) is supported at the bell and the housing over another set of rolling bearings (18, 19).
