The sheathing element (1) has an integrated air duct (6) at a rear side of the sheathing element. The air duct has a half-shell (5), which together with the associated regions of the sheathing element forms a wall of the air duct. The half-shell is glued on the outer side of the sheathing element. The air channel of a roof-side edge of the sheathing element is extended to a window (4). The air duct is horizontally guided along the window. An air inlet of the air duct is provided at a front side of the sheathing element.
