Method for suppressing superimposed noise-receiving single sideband signal transmitted through wireless communication, involves determining squelch signal in dependence of superimposed noise-receiving signal for signal suppression
The method involves determining a squelch signal in dependence of the superimposed noise-receiving signal and suppressing the received signal in the activated state of the squelch signal. The squelch signal is detected by performing Hilbert transform. The squelch signal is activated when the phase between Hilbert transformed imaginary signal component of the received signal and real signal component of the received signal is about 180[deg] at a distance of greater than a certain minimum distance. An independent claim is included for an apparatus for suppressing superimposed noise-receiving signal.
