The system has a counting energy-resolving X-ray image detector which is designed for detecting pixels for receiving an X-ray image, the number of incident X-ray quanta and energy. A system control unit is provided with an evaluation unit for weighted evaluation of the energy information and designed such that, the spectral information of the X-ray image detector is converted into spectral gray values and reproduced on the monitor. An independent claim is included for a method for angiographic examination of organ of patient.
