The ball joint (1) has an insert (5) limiting the internal space (6), a ball cup (4) arranged in the internal space, and a ball pin (3), which has a joint ball (2) and is movably mounted in the ball cup with its joint ball. A cast body (13) is provided, which encloses the insert and the ball cup and from which the ball pin extends out in an axial direction (12). A connecting element (9) is enclosed by the cast body in a circumferential manner and is arranged at a distance to the joint ball. The insert, the ball cup and the connecting element are connected with each other by the cast body.
