The arrangement has a starting element (2) e.g. hydrodynamic starting converter, for transferring a torque. The starting element includes a hub (18) for rotationally rigid attachment at a drive, which adjoins at the starting element in an axial direction (16). A roller bearing (22) i.e. grooved ball bearing, is arranged between the starting element and a fixed housing (4), and receives a force exerted by the starting element in the axial direction such that the force is conducted into the fixed housing via the roller bearing.
