The x-ray tube (M2) has a vacuum housing with an exit window integrated for an x-ray radiation, and an electron source for transmission of electrons. A rotating cylindrical anode is provided, in which the electrons are retarded by generating x-ray radiation on a focal spot that is stationary relative to the housing. The units are provided for rotation of a sheath surface around a cylinder longitudinal axis. The units are placed for simultaneous translational movement of the sheath surface in the direction of the cylinder longitudinal axis.
