The brewing unit has a displaceable brewing chamber and a displaceable T-piston for ejecting ground coffee, which is relatively movable to the brewing chamber. A link (10) is partially provided with a primary path (a) and a secondary path (b). The passive diverters (20,28,32) as components of the link, are provided to control the movement of T-piston according to the primary path or secondary path during operation. The link engages the sliding block (40) which is coupled to the T-piston.
