The method involves storing a data record (DS1,DS2) for a person (14), where the data record has an identification data of the person. The data (t,m) is provided in the data record, where the value (y) of the data is used to activate an auxiliary system during operation of a transportation machine (10). The data record has the data whose value indicates the auxiliary system, when the transportation machine is operated under the guidance of the person. The data value indicates a reaction time during driving safety of the auxiliary system. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a service provider computer with a memory unit and a processing unit; and (2) a transportation machine with an identification unit for generating the identification.
