The starter assembly (1) has an electric machine (30) and a meshing device (20). The electric machine comprises a rotatable pinion (32) provided into the gear ring (51) of internal combustion engine (50). A switching unit (10) is adapted to connect a switching contact (31) for starting the electric machine. The meshing device and the switching unit on the input side are acted upon with a voltage signal. A time switch module (15) is arranged for performing time-delayed switching of switching contact through the switching unit, so as to provide voltage signal for the switching unit. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) contactor plug; (2) asynchronous operation system; and (3) method for starting motor car.
