The unit has a hopper (1) formed with a filling opening (2) for introducing fibrous material and an outlet opening (3) for discharging fibrous material. Three shafts (5a-5c) are rotatably arranged in the hopper. One of wheels (6a-6c) with arms (7a-7c) is arranged on each shaft for loosening and conveying the fibrous material. One of the three shafts is rotated in opposite directions of other shafts, where diameters of the wheels are dimensioned such that arms of wheels are overlapped with each other. An opened surface of output opening is adjusted by a close unit (4) and a locking unit (9).
