Method for computer-aided generation of cryptographic data by e.g. smart card based on elliptic curve, involves transforming projective representations of x-coordinate of point of curve to other representations by preset equations
The method involves initializing a Montgomery conductor (101) with an infinite far point (PO) of points of an elliptic curve (S101). Cryptographic data (103) are generated (S102) by an initialized Montgomery conductors (102). A bijective diagram is designed as a bijective linear transformation, where elements of a body are chosen such that the elements are selected to define a preset equation. Projective representations of an x-coordinate of one point of the elliptic curve are transformed to other projective representations by other preset equations. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a computer program product (2) a computing unit.
