The control device (1) has acceleration sensor (2) that detects acceleration caused by user of the components of control device, and connected to a microcontroller (3). The microcontroller evaluates the development over time of the acceleration and evaluates the sequence of acceleration peaks. The microcontroller converts the evaluated acceleration peak sequence in a selected predefined classification signal that corresponds to an optional protocol so that the operating unit (5) directly control building unit. An independent claim is included for control method for operating units for building units.
