The method involves executing variation of machine speed (n) of a warp knitting machine according to a descending ramp and ascending ramp. The descending ramp describes reduction of rotational speed, where the ascending ramp describes increasing of the rotational speed. The descending ramp and the ascending ramp are divided in different ramp rises. A respective length of the areas is selected with different ramp rises such that slight change of mesh size is observed for successive rows of stitches.
