The connector (105) comprises a contact portion (205) for engagement between coaxial components (120,125). Two rivet portions (210,215) are provided on different sides of contact portion for insertion into recesses (145) of the coaxial components. The ends (220,225) of the rivet portions are guided through the recesses of the coaxial components and are deformed beyond the coaxial components. The contact portion is cured in a hardness zone (230). The hardness zone is extended in a direction parallel to the coaxial components by the contact portion. An independent claim is included for torsional vibration damper.
