The torsional vibration damper (100) has an input flange (104) that is connected with a drive motor, and an output flange (140) that is connected with a gear box. A bow spring (126) is arranged for connecting input flange with an intermediate flange (130). A compression spring (128) is arranged for connecting output flange with intermediate flange. The bow spring and compression spring are arranged around the rotational axis (102).
