The structured mats (1a,1b) are provided with quadratic firm cell structures, and are arranged parallelly in sliding guides in overlapping manner with load elements or slidable components. The load elements or slidable components form a connection of both mats. The cell structures are controlled in structurally stable manner by drawstrings or firm strings. The cell structures are arranged one below another and are open from the top and bottom. A string group provides an individual displacement of both structured mats against each other. Another string group together with the former string group provides the movement of the total mat unit in the water for transport and releasing of the algae harvesting.
