The device (10) has retaining elements (16, 18) attached to respective stand elements (12, 14). The stand elements are movably supported along respective linear guides (20, 22). An elongated guiding body (24) having a guide element (28) is arranged between the stand elements. Connection elements (30, 32) are connected with the respective stand elements. The stand elements are moved one after another and moved at a distance from each other through displacement of the guiding element in displacement directions, respectively for adjusting defined distance between the stand elements.
