The device has slave pistons (43-45, 46-48) loaded with operating pressure in slave cylinders (25, 26) formed at sides of a brake disk (3) to operate a disk brake (1). The slave cylinders are loaded with the pressure over an electrohydraulic actuator (10) having master cylinders (21, 22) with transmitter pistons (41, 42). The transmitter pistons are coupled with an electric motor (14) over a transmission (18) that converts rotating movement of a drive shaft of the motor into translatory movement of the transmitter pistons. The transmission has a nut (58) that is arranged on a spindle (56).
