The afterbody (15) has a diaphragm forming assembly (40) comprising two annular plates (46, 50) covering each other and each pierced with slots (48, 52) that together define a passage section. The plate (46) is fixedly mounted on an afterburning casing (16), and the plate (50) is movably mounted on the casing. The assembly has a moving unit (60) permitting to displace the plates relative to each other to vary the size of the passage section defined by the slots.
