METHOD OF LOCATING A VEHICLE BY SATELLITES AND INTEGRITY GUARANTEE WITH SELECTION OF A SATELLITE SUBGROUP

The method involves selecting a subgroup with five satellites, from a group of satellites (2.1-2.11). Main position is calculated from the data from a group of satellites, and secondary positions are calculated from the data from the subgroup of satellites by excluding data from one of the satellites. Protection limits corresponding to the main and secondary positions are calculated while distinguishing whether the failure in the constellation affects the satellites. Overall protection limit is calculated from the reference position, the main and secondary positions, and the protection limits.
