The device comprises a container (1) filled with phase change eutectic composite material of solid aqueous gel enclosing a homogeneous network of vermicules of expanded graphite, and a shielding (5) and a movable or articulated cover coating an evaporator (4). The container occupies the entire interior volume defined by the evaporator and two sides contacting with inner walls of the evaporator. The shielding provides a heat resistance to the container and confines the refrigeration to the container. A space and an insulating veil are provided between the evaporator and the movable cover. The shielding comprises a reduced section acting as a rabbet for guiding and fitting the cover.
