The invention relates to a comprehensive home monitoring and management system retaining full functionality of lighting, heating and roller blinds, independent of the monitoring system, in the event of a failure of said system. The system consists of a central computer (1) connected with two wires to electronic boxes (2) (3) (4) providing interfaces having switches (6), lamps (7), temperature sensors (8), convection heaters (9) and roller blinds (10). The central computer provides the automation, management and monitoring of said different connected devices. In the event of failure of the system the electronic boxes (2) (3) and (4), using the internal electromechanical relay gear thereof, automatically reconnect the various switches (6) with the respective lamps (7) thereof, supply power to the convection heaters (9) so that they operate autonomously in each room of the home and enable the manual controls for raising and lowering the roller blinds (10). The device according to the invention is intended in particular for the modern management of a home to achieve energy savings in said home and for the automation of all daily tasks while offering fallback functionality allowing normal living within the home while the system is out of service.
