The cap comprises a bearing structure such as a layer of aerated material including branches or grating and a layer of support material. The support elements of plants are positioned in the channel at predefined intervals. The support elements comprise a plate or a pot positioned on a stake designed to be installed at a bottom of the channel so that the plate or the pot is outcrop to a surface of water in the channel.
