The invention relates to a method for preparing an inorganic material having a hierarchized porosity in the microporosity, mesoporosity, and macroporosity ranges, said material consisting of at least two basic spherical particles having a maximum diameter of 200 microns, each of said spherical particles including metal particles trapped in a silicon-oxide matrix, said method including the following steps: a) preparing a solution containing a structuring agent and a silicic precursor; b) mixing said metal particles or at least one metal precursor of said metal particles, a surfactant, and said solution obtained according to step a) into a solution, such that the ratio V(inorganic)/V(organic) is between 0.09 and 0.28; c) atomizing, by means of an aerosol, said solution obtained in step b) in order to form spherical droplets; d) drying said particles; and e) removing said structuring agent and said surfactant.
