The kayak has a deck seat (7) placed behind a cockpit (6), where the kayak is made of a composite material, and the cockpit is a depression part of a deck (4) with or without an opening. A stabilizing element comprises floats (2) and a connection arm (3) fixed on the deck behind the deck seat and/or to the floats by screws. An adjusting device adjusts height of the floats according to weight of a user in such way that the floats are out of water when the user sits on a seat of the cockpit, and in water when the user sits on the deck seat. The cockpit comprises a central storage locker (8).
