The apparatus has an entry for receiving compressed gas at initial pressure and continuous flow. Pneumatic actuators (200, 202, 204) comprise a working surface. A gas distributor is mounted between the entry and the actuators. The distributor comprises multiple valves. A pressure regulator is mounted upstream of the distributor. The regulator converts the compressed gas to operating pressure. A controller selectively controls each valve according to time sequence and an operating tool for controlling the working pressure and to define each time sequence. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a physical apparatus.
