The device has a conveyor (11) for forming a pair of conveying lines (12a, 12b) having drive chains coupled to a motorized drive device. Another conveyor (21) extends downstream of the former conveyer, and a transfer zone (25) allows transferring of objects between the conveyors. An upper part of each conveying line includes an inner zone (42) placed at loading ends (16a, 16b) in which side rails extending on an interior side are compared to rollers (14a, 14b). A carpet (55) receives the objects falling laterally and recycles the received objects.
