The device (1) has a frame (2) for supporting a blower unit (3). The blower unit is associated with a collecting unit (4). The blower unit and the collecting unit are arranged in a manner facing toward a side of a row (5) of crops i.e. vine. The blower unit is allowed to blow on the row of crops toward the collecting unit such that lepidopteran pests such as moths, are removed from the row of crops and collected in the collecting unit.
