The machine has a parallelepiped storage compartment (1) segmented in width by plates delimiting equal sized empty columns in which parallelepiped chewing-gums are arranged in distinct stacks, where the chewing-gums have dimensions of 7.4 cm length, 1.9 width and 1.5 mm breadth. The storage compartment is open on a frontal face and on a lower face. The stacks of the chewing-gums rest on a conveyor belt (2) that is formed of a notched belt extended between rollers (10A, 10B) actuated by a motor. The rollers are mounted on posts and supported by a plate, so that the rollers move the chewing-gums between notches toward a receptacle (3) during the insertion of a quantity of currency in a change machine (4).
