Use of flocculant cationic polyurethane polymer comprising quaternary cationic or pendant tertiary amino function relative to a main chain or terminal function, as an antiperspirant active ingredient, is claimed. An independent claim is included for treating human perspiration, comprising applying the flocculant cationic polyurethane polymer on the surface of the skin, preferably in a composition not containing aluminum and/or zirconium antiperspirant salts.
