The blade (1) has a cutting or crushing surface shaped for cutting or crushing a connection zone between a subscriber identity module (SIM) card and a card support. Toothed surfaces (3, 4) provide an indication of a level of cutting or crushing at the connection zone. The SIM card is contained in a plane of a sheet material that forms the card support, where the SIM card is connected to the card support with one or more extensions between the SIM card and the card support. The card is made of a paper or a paper composite or a plastic material. An independent claim is also included for a method for formation of a SIM card from a sheet material.
