The windscreen (3) has a film (11) arranged between an interior glass sheet (9) and an exterior glass sheet (10). An end section of the film projects from a front edge (12) of the windscreen, and is folded under the interior glass sheet to form a windscreen supporting wedge (16) under the interior glass sheet. The supporting wedge is stuck to the interior glass sheet, and comprises stacked layers (18) that are formed by successive folds of the film and are stuck to each other, where width (L) of the layers is equal. An independent claim is also included for a method for assembling a windscreen of a vehicle.
