The knitting has a mesh construction in four rows (n, n+1, n+2, n +3) or eight rows, where two of the rows include a thread (20) and another thread (22) that includes elastane. A series of rows of mesh construction includes the latter thread that is knitted with the former thread. Another series of rows of mesh includes the latter thread that is knitted differently from the former thread such that the latter thread is floated on certain meshes, where the latter series includes successive rows of latter threads. An independent claim is also included for a clothing article.
