The invention relates to a method 100 for determining in real time a probability of the presence of a target biological tissue facing an ultrasound transducer, said method 100 comprising the following steps: emission 101, via an ultrasound transducer, of an ultrasonic signal in a biological tissue; reception 102, by said ultrasonic transducer, of said ultrasonic signal emitted backscattered by said biological tissue; calculating 103 of at least two instantaneous parameters E, LIN, ATT of said backscattered ultrasonic signal; calculation of a predictive value P of presence of an acoustic signature of a target biological tissue, said predictive value P being calculated via a statistical law using said at least two calculated instantaneous parameters E, LIN, ATT; an estimate 105 of a probability of presence of said target biological tissue opposite said ultrasonic transducer, said estimate 105 being a function of said calculated predictive value P and / or of at least one robustness condition based on at least one of said two instantaneous parameters calculated E, LIN, ATT.
