The system has a clamp (6) connected to a frame of a bicycle and to an interior plate (1). The interior plate is connected to an external plate (2) by a lower pin (3) and an upper pin (4), where the interior plate and the external plate are not parallel to each other. The interior plate is located parallel to a chain (7) when the interior plate is placed on a large back pinion. The external plate is located parallel to the chain when the external plate is placed on a small back pinion. A rubber washer is placed between the interior plate/external plate and the upper pin/lower pin. The rubber washer is placed between the interior plate/external plate and the upper pin/lower pin to compensate non-orthogonality between the upper pin/lower pin and the interior plate/external plate.
