The desorber (100) has a housing (110) provided with a heat exchanger (7), where a mixture of absorbent fluid and refrigerating fluid is introduced into the housing in contact with the heat exchanger. A distribution system for distributing the mixture of absorbent and refrigerating fluids is built into an upper wall of the housing. The distribution system is supported on the heat exchanger arranged in the housing. The distribution system comprises a set of grooves forming channels (111) defined in the upper wall. The mixture of absorbent fluid and refrigerating fluid comprises a coolant e.g. water, and a saline solution of lithium bromide.
