The device i.e. blowing plenum (10), has a box (11) comprising an upper face (12) and a lower face (13) defining a closed volume. An air intake (14) receives a flow of pressurized air with respect to pressure in a surgical unit. A passage passes through the box isolated from the closed volume. Air filtering plates (16) are assembled on the lower face. Air filter (21) is arranged in order to allow a filtered air flow under pressure into a through passage (19). The air filter extends between the upper face and the lower face and adjacent to the through passage.
