The container comprises an enclosure that is carried out by a wall assembly including a peripheral wall (3c, 3d, 3e) and a lower wall (3a) forming a bottom and includes two communicating compartments (2a, 2b). One of the communicating compartments contains organic waste, plant and worm compost. Other of the compartment contains a substrate supporting the development of plants/vegetable (100). The substrate is sphagnum moss. The container further comprises a vertical wall comprising through holes delimiting the communicating compartments, and a unit for accessing one of the compartments. The container comprises an enclosure that is carried out by a wall assembly including a peripheral wall (3c, 3d, 3e) and a lower wall (3a) forming a bottom and includes two communicating compartments (2a, 2b). One of the communicating compartments contains organic waste, plant and worm compost. Other of the compartment contains a substrate supporting the development of plants/vegetable (100). The substrate is sphagnum moss. The container further comprises a vertical wall comprising through holes delimiting the communicating compartments, a unit for accessing one of the compartments, and a unit for conveying the compost rejected by earthworms to the compartment containing the substrate. The wall assembly includes an upper wall (3f) partially closing the enclosure. A front wall of the assembly constitutes spaced wall portions and through holes to allow the passage of plants/vegetable. The wall portions are maintained outwardly inclined at an angle of 1-89[deg] with respect to a horizontal line defined by the soil. The conveying unit comprises the lower wall forming the bottom that is positioned at an inclined angle consisting of a downward slope of the compartment containing the waste and compost rejected by the worms towards the compartment containing the substrate.
