The invention relates to a splash deflector for landing gear carrying two wheels on an axle, comprising: - a fixed support (5) intended to be fixed in use on a part of the undercarriage carrying the axle to extend between the wheels and have a distal end behind the wheels; a first flap (2) articulated on the support at its distal end along a first axis of articulation (X1) substantially parallel to the axle; a second flap (3) articulated on the second first flap along a second hinge axis (X2) substantially parallel to the first hinge axis; a return member (11) arranged to recall the second flap against a stop of the first flap preventing the second flap to align with the first flap, and to return the first flap against a stop of the fixed support preventing the first flap to fall back against the support.
