The pump (1) has a coupling or uncoupling unit (8) directly or indirectly coupled with an output shaft of a thermal engine of a car, where an axle (3) is rotatably and mechanically attached to the output shaft of the engine in a direct or indirect manner for creating vacuum. The coupling or uncoupling unit is connected with an auxiliary attachment (5) for rotating the axle. The auxiliary attachment is operated when the coupling or uncoupling unit is in an uncoupling position of the output shaft, where the axle comprises a recess (7) emerging toward the output shaft of the engine. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an activation system (2) a method for controlling a drive of an axle of a vacuum pump in a car.
