The method involves pressurizing a liquid or gel agent (8) under action of pressurization gas (G) by an impermeable movable element (10). The pressurization gas is generated by heating a precursor liquid (L) within a container (6), where the liquid has saturating steam pressure greater than that of the agent under temperature conditions reigning within the container. Internal volume (Vi) of the container is separated into first volume (V1) and second volume (V2) by the element in a sealed manner, where the element is a flexible diaphragm, a piston or bellows. An independent claim is also included for a device for implementing a method for delivering liquid or gelified agent from a container.
